Join us on Saturday, November 19 from 5:00-7:00 PM for a reception at the Patchogue Arts Gallery celebrating Slide Slamming: A Long Island Collaboration. Artists in this exhibit participated in the first Slide Slam 2016 at the Islip Art Museum. 

The Slide Slam collaboration introduces participating artists to an audience of curators and art world professionals to strengthen their Long Island network. The artists featured in this exhibition represent a broad variety of media and themes that only begin to suggest the full diversity of artists working on Long Island.

This group exhibition is curated by John Cino and features the artwork of Martin Andrews, Ayako Bando, Ye-seul Choi, Sage Cotignola, Michele Dragonetti, Lisa Federici, Qin Han, Samantha Hernandez, Kathryn Ko, Rachelle Krieger, Neil Leinwohl, Juan Lopez Espantaleon, Kasmira Mohanty, Anne Sherwood Pundyk, and Ching Wen Tsai. 

Additional Slide Slams in the 2016 series were held at Ripe Gallery in Greenlawn and the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook. HamptonsArtHub.com completes the collaboration as a media sponsor. Slide Slamming: A Long Island Collaboration will be on view thru December 30 at the Patchogue Arts Gallery.
